Glenorchy and Hobart Detectives are investigating a number of business burglaries that occurred in the south of the State overnight on 23/3/2012.

The following businesses were entered and cash stolen:

• A coffee shop located on Wyndham Road, Claremont
• A takeaway store located at Crosby Court, Marys Hope Road
• A pharmacy located on Giblin Street, Lenah Valley
• A takeaway store located on Melifont Street, West Hobart
• A café in Lutana located at Nystar
• A takeaway store located on Main Road, Austins Ferry.

The above burglaries occurred between 3am on the 23/3/12 and 5am on the 23/3/12.  Police are not ruling out the possibility that some if not all burglaries are linked.  A specific line of enquiry is being followed.  CCTV footage and forensic evidence has been obtained from all the scenes and police believe that this will aid in identifying the person(s) responsible.
