Single vehicle rollover– Tasman Highway, Sideling

Police attended a single vehicle rollover on the Tasman Highway on the Sideling in North-East Tasmania around 9am this morning.

A 24-year old man from Kings Meadows rolled the ute in the wet and slippery conditions.

The crash blocked the left lane heading towards Launceston for approximately two hours.

The driver was taken by ambulance with non- life threatening injuries to the Launceston General Hospital, suffering a deep gash to his head.

Motorists are reminded to drive to the conditions and slow down when road surfaces are wet and slippery.
