Sadly, a 48 year old man has died following a single vehicle motorbike crash on a forestry trail near Browns Creek Road, Bakers Beach this afternoon.

At about 12.10pm the man lost control of the offroad motorbike and hit a tree suffering fatal injuries.

Tasmania Police attended the scene along with Ambulance Tasmania. Investigations are continuing.

Our thoughts are with the man’s family and loved ones.

A report will be prepared for the coroner.
