Approximately 11.50am on Sunday the 12th of July, 2015 a white Ford Mondeo hatch has been travelling in a general northerly direction on Old Forcett Road just past Okines Road Dodges Ferry.

The vehicle has veered left and collided with a fence and small trees before coming to rest.

The vehicle was being driven by a 62 year old man from Carlton.

Emergency services provided medical assistance to the man but unfortunately he died at the scene.

Police would like to speak to any person who may have witnessed the crash or saw the vehicle just prior to the collision.

Investigations are continuing.
