At about 12:20am on Sunday 6/12/15 Devonport police attended a single vehicle crash which occurred on Formby Road Devonport near the intersection of Stewart Street.

A white Ford sedan was travelling South on Formby Road when the single occupant female driver lost control.  The vehicle veered left hitting a light pole and crashed through a small fence and coming to a stop very close to the railway line.

The driver did not sustain any injuries although was shaken by this incident.  She was breath tested and returned a negative reading.  The cause of the crash is still being investigated.
