Significant damage and burglary at Bunnings site North Launceston

Overnight on the 25^th – 26^th April 2015 a significant amount of damage was caused to plant machinery at a building site adjacent to the Bunnings North Launceston store located on Lindsay Street, Launceston.

It would appear as if the offender remained at the site for a prolonged period of time causing significant damage and creating a considerable amount of noise.

A burglary was also committed at the Bunnings store resulting in damage to the store structure and also some items stolen.

The scene was attended by Launceston Uniform Police, Northern CIB and Forensic Services.

Tasmania Police wish to speak with persons who may have information in relation to the matter or who may have witnessed any person acting suspiciously in the area at the time.
