Police are investigating a burglary from at a construction site in Parklands, Burnie.

Between 8:30pm on Tuesday 9 March and 6:00am on Wednesday 10 March, multiple shipping containers and an office were forcibly entered at the construction site of the new University of Tasmania campus at West Park.

A significant number of various branded tools were stolen with an estimated value in excess of $30,000.

Police are seeking information from members of the public who may have noticed suspicious activity at the site, as well as any vehicles entering or exiting the West Park precinct.
