In the early hours of Thursday July 1 2010, the Shoreline Shopping Centre at Howrah was unlawfully entered.

Those responsible have pulled the facia from a Commonwealth Bank ATM in what is believed an attempt to enter the machine.

The attempt failed and there has been only minor damage caused to the ATM.

Although Oxy-Acetylene equipment was located in the building there was no evidence to suggest that this was going to be used to blow up the ATM in a “gassing” type incident.
