At approximately 9pm on 26/12/13 Tasmania Police attended a shed fire at Weld Street Beaconsfield.  The shed was well ablaze when Tasmania Police and Tasmania Fire Service attended, with approximately $50,000 damage caused as a result of the fire. 

The cause of the fire is undetermined and Tasmania Police and Tasmania Fire Service will be investigating the cause of the fire.

Tasmania Police urge any person who witnessed the fire or has information in relation to the cause of the fire to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 00 or Launceston Police Station on 63363701.
