At 4.20 pm on Wednesday 5 February 2014, a structure fire was reported at 18 Bounty Street, Warrane.

A 5m x 6 m timber and metal shed at the rear of the address was on fire.  The house was unoccupied at the time, therefore no persons were injured.

Tasmania Fire Service (TFS) attended and extinguished the fire, resulting in only minor structural damage.  The estimated damage cost is $3,000.

The fire has been determined as being ‘suspicious’ and police are seeking assistance from any person who has information.
