Serious Two Vehicle Collision – South Arm Highway Lauderdale (17 Oct)
A 33year old woman from Cairns was seriously injured, sustaining leg and head injuries when the car she was driving, a silver Nissan Micra, was involved in a collision on the South Arm Highway at about 5.50am this morning.
The two vehicle collision occurred on South Arm Highway, south of Donna Road.
A white Holden Jackaroo had been heading south when the collision occurred with the northbound silver Nissan Micra.
The driver of the Holden, a 26year old man from Mornington, received non-life threatening injuries.
The woman was conveyed to the Royal Hobart Hospital for treatment where she remains in a serious condition.
Police would like to speak to anyone who may have seen either vehicle just prior to the crash.
