On Friday 12 June 2015 at 1.25am police attended a single vehicle roll over on the Bass Highway, Don near the intersection of Waverley Road.

The vehicle was travelling west on the Bass Highway when the driver has crashed into the Armco railing and then rolled the vehicle onto its roof. The vehicle has slid on its roof for several hundred metres before coming to a stop.

The sole occupant of the vehicle, a 21 year old man from Ulverstone was conveyed to the North West Regional Hospital with significant facial lacerations. The male was then transferred to the Royal Hobart Hospital and is being treated for non-life threatening injuries.

Investigations into the matter are continuing.

Police ask anyone who observed a white Hyundai Excel hatch travelling on the Bass Highway, Devonport at about 1.25am to contact police on 131 444.
