Police are investigating a serious crash involving a motorised pushbike and a Red Mitsubishi ASX Station Wagon.

The crash occurred on Thursday 5 May 2022 at around 2.30pm on Hilton Road in Claremont.

The driver of the motorised bike was a 17-year-old who sustained serious injuries in the crash.

Acting Sergeant Alison Woolley said that this is a timely reminder to anyone using a motorised pushbike, to always wear protective equipment and ride the bike in the correct manner.

Anyone who witnessed this crash or has any dash cam footage of the rider or the vehicle involved prior to this crash, can they please contact the Glenorchy Police Station on 131 444.
