Serious crash Gawler
Shortly after 2:00am on Friday 31 August 2012 police attended the scene of a single vehicle crash on Preston Road, Gawler.
A white Subaru travelling in a south-westerly direction lost traction and rolled several times, colliding with a power pole as it came to rest. The vehicle caught fire shortly after impact. The 18 year old male driver and his three male passengers escaped from the burning vehicle.
The Tasmania Fire Service and Ambulance Tasmania attended the scene.
The driver was taken to the North West Regional Hospital suffering from suspected burns and head injuries. Two passengers were also conveyed to the North West Regional Hospital with injuries.
Police are examining the scene and investigations into the cause of the crash are continuing.
