Just after 9:50am today, police and emergency services attended a single vehicle crash on Glenlusk Road, Collinsvale.

A Subaru station wagon has left the road, slid down an embankment and collided with some trees. The female driver, a Collinsvale resident in her 20’s. was the only occupant of the vehicle at the time.

Glenlusk Road was closed for 2 and a half hours while the scene was cleared.

The driver of the Subaru remains in the Royal Hobart Hospital in a critical condition.

The cause of the crash is being investigated.
