Police are investigating a serious crash involving a white Range Rover and a black BMW at Table Cape on the 6^th of May 2022.

Police and emergency services were called to the scene at about 12:45pm.

The driver and additional passenger of both vehicles were taken to hospital in a stable condition with minor injuries.

The driver of the white Range Rover was trapped in his vehicle for a short period of time before being extracted by Tasmania Fire Service.

One lane of the Bass Highway was closed for approximately two and half hours to allow crash investigators to examine the scene and conduct inquiries. Investigations are continuing and Police would like to thank motorists for their patience and understanding.
