Serious Bicycle Crash – Kingston (14 Jan)
A 60 year old man from Kingston is in the Royal Hobart Hospital in a serious condition after a bicycle crash on Dennison Street at Kingston. The accident occurred at 3.30pm.
The injured man was riding East on Dennison Street when he lost control of his bicycle and was thrown over the handle bars. He was taken to the Royal Hobart Hospital suffering serious head injuries.
The rider was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.
The crash is being investigated by Constable NELSEN of Kingston Police. She would like to hear from any member of the public who may have witnessed the incident. Please call Tasmania Police on 131 444.
