About 5.15 am Sunday 2 September 2012, 3 males were assaulted whilst walking along Murray Street in Hobart, between Macquarie and Davie Streets.

The 2 suspects were captured on video footage a short time prior to the incident.

The unprovoked attack resulted in one victim receiving significant facial injuries.

The suspects fled on foot towards the waterfront area.
