A SECOND convoy is being arranged this evening for anyone who wishes to leave the Tasman Peninsula in their vehicle.

The police escorted convoy will depart from the intersection of the Arthur Highway and Nubeena Road at Taranna, at 8pm this evening.

Anyone who wants to join the convoy is to arrive at the departure point in time to register with Police.

The departure of the convoy is dependent on weather conditions and the safety of the Highway.

An earlier convoy departed from Taranna at 6pm, and 251 vehicles are en route off the Peninsula.
