Police and emergency services, including the Westpac Rescue Helicopter, are currently searching waters off Bicheno following a report of two overdue divers.

Police and multiple recreational vessels are searching waters near Alligator Rock, just off the Bicheno foreshore.

The divers were diving together in the area around 10.15am and failed to return at 11am as planned.

Authorities were notified shortly before midday.
