Search ongoing for missing fisherman in Northern Tasmania
Police are continuing the search for missing fisherman, Kerry Frankcombe, who failed to return from a fishing trip on Sunday, 10 September.
Sergeant Leighton Riggall said concerns are held for Mr Frankcombe, whose fishing vessel was located by police in waters about 12km off the coast of Beechford in the early hours of Monday morning.
“Multiple resources including marine police and the Westpac Rescue Helicopter have recommenced the search between Port Sorell and Beechford this morning.”
Police hold significant concerns for Mr Frankcombe’s welfare, given the amount of time he has now been missing.
Anyone with information is urged to contact police on 131 444.
