Scottsdale war memorial damaged
Between 5pm on Saturday 4th June and 2pm on Sunday 5th June, the war memorial on George Street Scottsdale has been substantially damaged.
Offenders have cut parts off the Simpson and his donkey wood carving, including the ears from the donkey, and the head from the wounded soldier with what appears to be a hand saw.
The wooden parts are still missing.
A tree was also cut down and a cross mounted to a tree ripped off its mounting.
Anyone with information is asked to contact Scottsdale Police or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
