Salamanca Incident – Victim Sought

Police are investigating an incident which occurred outside licensed premises on the corner of Salamanca Place and Montpellier Retreat approximately 2.45am on Saturday 16th November 2013.

Police believe a man was assaulted, kicked to his lower torso and struck to the face. A victim has yet to come forward to police and police would ask any person who either witnessed the incident or believes they were the victim in relation to this incident to come forward.

At the time of the incident the victim was described as follows: a man aged between 25-35yrs, of average build, with short hair. He was wearing a light coloured short sleeve collared shirt and dark trousers and may have been carrying a jacket.

He appears to be wearing a sneaker type shoe which had a stripe down the side. The victim did not appear to be in the company of other persons and had recently exited the licensed premise.
