Around midnight on the evening of Thursday 15 August 2013 the business, Rural Solutions Tasmania situated on the Tasman Highway (Main Road) at Sorell was burgled.

A quantity of Stihl chainsaws, Red Honda Generators and a Stihl pressure cleaner were stolen.

A small, light coloured hatch style vehicle is believed to be connected with the crime.

Police are interested in receiving any information about these items being offered for sale.  Any information regarding sightings of a similar vehicle or indeed any suspicious behaviour in the Sorell area at the relevant time is also of interest to investigators.
