At about 9:30pm on Saturday 7 August 2021 a 54 year old taxi driver accepted a fare from Mowbray to Invermay. Upon arrival at the destination, the taxi driver was assaulted and robbed of a quantity of cash, by a male passenger.

The driver received minor injuries and did not require medical attention.

Whilst Police are following a specific line of enquiry, they would like to hear from any member of the public who may be able to assist with information.
