At approximately 6:50pm on Saturday 25 March 2023, police received reports of a road rage incident that occurred between a 1998 White Holden Rodeo ute and a Black Mitsubishi Lancer on the East Derwent Highway between the Jordan River Bridge and the Gagebrook Roundabout. The White Rodeo ute sustained a broken driver’s door window and the Black Mitsubishi Lancer was last seen in the Risdon Vale area.

Police are investigating the incident and don’t believe there to be any danger to the public. Any member of the public that witnessed the incident or may have dash camera footage are encouraged to call Tasmania Police on 131 444 or Crimestoppers on 1800 333 000 (quoting OR 709194).
