Tasmania Police today joined with Health, WorkSafe and Transport inspectors in a day of action in Launceston to highlight the importance of checking in at businesses and taxi/rideshares.

94 businesses were visited and 15 taxis and rideshare vehicles were checked.

Tasmania Police provided formal advice to 25 people about checking in, and WorkSafe Tasmania issued two improvement notices to businesses.
