Residents advised to leave – between Molesworth & Collinsvale

Residents relocating to the Nearby Safer Place at 'Carinya', 103 Blair St, New Norfolk, are advised they are able to take their pets and livestock to the facility.

Tasmania Police are assisting the TFS in door-knocking residents between Molesworth and Collinsvale to advise them to leave the area immediately for a safer place.

Police officers and TFS personnel are making contact with every property on Collins Cap Road, from Tanglewood Road to Valley Road including Stocks Road, Suhrs Road and all other side roads that contain dwellings between those areas.

Residents of Ringwood Road, Lachlan, are also being contacted and advised to leave.

Residents are advised to leave the area and stay with family and friends away from the fire-affected area. 

Alternatively, residents can go to the Nearby Safer Place, at ‘Carinya’, 103 Blair Street New Norfolk.  It is located behind the high school.
