Tasmania Police have released the name of the driver who was killed in a single vehicle crash on the Bass Highway at Hellyer Beach on Friday 4^th April 2014.

He was Xiang LI, 26 years of Deacon Street, Burnie.

It is believed Mr. LI lost control of his white Toyota Camry sedan when he was travelling west on the highway. The vehicle travelled off to the left side of the road before veering back across both lanes and into a stand of trees.

Investigations into the cause of the crash are ongoing and a report is being prepared for the coroner.
