Tasmania Police have released the name of the driver who was killed in a single vehicle crash on Heemskirk Road, just north of Zeehan on Friday night (5/1/2018).

She was Janelle Louise PAYNE, 51 years from Granville Harbour.

Ms. PAYNE was the sole occupant of a black Suzuki Grand Vitara wagon which left the road on a right hand curve and rolled a number of times. She was ejected from the vehicle and died at the scene.

Police would like to speak with anyone who saw Ms. PAYNE or her vehicle prior to the crash to contact either the Crash Investigation section at Burnie or their local West Coast Police Station.

A report is being prepared for the coroner.
