Quad Bike Crash – River Road Tunnack
A quad bike rider was airlifted to the Royal Hobart Hospital in a serious condition following a quad bike crash on River Road, Tunnack in the early hours of Saturday morning.
At 1am on Saturday 3 June, Police and Tas Ambulance personnel attended the scene of a single quad bike crash on River road, Tunnack.
It appears that the rider, a a 35 year old Woodsdale man, had failed to negotiate a left hand corner and as a result the bike had rolled several times coming to rest in a paddock.
Early investigation indicates excessive speed may be a factor. Investigations are ongoing at this time
