Police are making enquiries into the stealing of a pony from a property in Glenorchy.

It is believed the ‘Riding for the Disabled’ pony named “Lil Man” was stolen between 2pm yesterday and 10am today, from a property on Kalang Avenue.

The male shetland pony is about 10-11 hands high, chestnut in colour, with no distinguishing marks or features.

Anyone who may have information relating to this matter, or who may have witnessed any suspicious activity in the area is asked to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000, or contact Glenorchy police station.
