Sadly, police can confirm an 18 year old man has died in the Royal Hobart Hospital after a crash on Piper’s River Road, Turners Marsh on Christmas Day.

This death, plus the fatalities at Lebrina yesterday and Dunalley on Thursday bring the Christmas road toll to three, and 32 for the year to date.

An 18 year old woman remains in a critical condition in the Royal Hobart after a crash in Dunalley on Thursday that killed an 18 year old man.

Acting Inspector Ian Mathewson will be available to speak to media at 2pm today at Tasmania Police Headquarters in relation to the fatalities and Operation Crossroads.
