Police undertake forensic examination of missing man’s home
North-West detectives and forensic officers have today examined the home of missing Ulverstone man Noel Joseph Ingham, 58.
Police hold concerns for the welfare and safety of Mr Ingham, who has not been seen since 22 July 2016, when he visited his doctor.
Detective Senior Sergeant David Chapman said that a team of police officers from Forensic Science Services Tasmania, Devonport CIB and Devonport Uniform carried out a number of examinations at the Colac Court residence.
“Police hold grave concerns for Mr Ingham’s welfare and believe that there is a possibility Mr Ingham may have become a victim of foul play. It’s a possible scenario we are considering as part of our extensive ongoing investigation,” Det Senior Sgt Chapman said.
“We also conducted investigations by doorknocking in neighbouring properties in a bid to gain further information into Mr Ingham’s whereabouts.”
His 2002 silver Jeep Grand Cherokee, registration number EN6838 is not at his address.
It is thought he may be travelling in this vehicle.
Anyone with information that may assist police to locate Mr Ingham is urged to anonymously call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or Devonport CIB on 6478 4036.
