Police seeking witnesses to dangerous driving in Hobart CBD
Police are seeking public information following a dangerous driving incident in the Hobart CBD area this morning.
Around 6.30am police responded to a report of a crash on Davey Street, where a silver Subaru Impreza hatch had collided with two vehicles outside Mures.
The Subaru failed to stop at the scene and drove dangerously through the CBD area, before crashing on Brisbane Street around 6.45am.
The driver fled the scene at Brisbane Street and was arrested by police on Argyle Street around 5 minutes later.
Anyone who witnessed the driving behaviour of the Subaru described is urged to contact Hobart Police on 131 444 or Crime Stoppers anonymously on 1800 333 000.
The male driver remains in police custody.
No injuries were reported.
