At approximately 5:30 pm on Thursday the 30th of January 2014 an altercation occurred in the area of the First Basin and Rotunda at the Trevallyn Gorge Reserve.

The altercation is alleged to have involved a woman and a middle aged man. The man is alleged to have assaulted the woman.

Police ask for assistance from any witnesses who observed the incident and are particularly interested in speaking with a man who is believed to have intervened. This man has been described as being older, of slim build and who was wearing a long sleeved Hi-Vis yellow jacket.
