Police are investigating an incident that occurred on Tamar Street, Launceston, at about 1:15am on Sunday 17 June 2018. Information has been received that a man was involved in an altercation with three other men, outside the Launceston Showgirls Gentleman’s Club in Tamar Street.

Police enquiries conducted thus far suggest that “pepper” spray or similar was deployed during the altercation. Police are seeking assistance from any members of the public who were either present at the club, or in the vicinity of the licensed premises, at the time.
