Police Release Name of Pedestrian from Devonport Crash

At approximately 1750hrs on Friday the 24th of October 2014, a pedestrian crossing at the junction of Best Street and Rooke Street at Devonport was hit by a silver Holden Rodeo flat tray utility. The Holden was turning right from Rooke Street into Best Street.

Police have now released the name of the 64 year old pedestrian who died from injuries received in the crash.

She was Lola Jean HILES of Shearwater.

Western District Crash Investigation will be preparing a report for the Coroner in relation to the crash. Witnesses who observed the crash are urged to contact 1/C Constable Adam LLOYD at Western District Crash Investigation on 131 444.
