Police recover vehicle believed to have damaged Clarence Plains Police Station doors
Police have recovered the vehicle believed to have been driven into the doors of Clarence Plains Police Station around 5.30am this morning.
As part of the ongoing police investigation, officers have recovered a white Ford Courier ute in Clarendon Vale which is believed to be the vehicle driven into the station.
Investigations are ongoing to identify and locate the driver of the vehicle at the time of the incident.
Anyone with CCTV of the area, or information that would assist police to identify the driver, is asked to contact police on 131 444 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000. Information can be provided anonymously.
During the incident the front doors to the public enquiry office were extensively damaged. No police officers were in the station at the time the incident occurred. The main offices were not entered, and nothing was stolen or attempted to be removed.
