Police recover significant haul of stolen property
Over the recent June long weekend, members from Tasmania Police have recovered a significant amount of stolen property from several residences in the northern suburbs, Risdon Vale and Maydena.
Property recovered consisting of high-end mountain bikes, helmets, tools, and snowboard equipment. The property recovered is valued in excess of $75,000 and has been linked to burglaries in the Derwent Valley that were committed in the past week.
A 25-year-old man, 23-year-old man, 21-year-old woman and a youth face charges including aggravated burglary, stealing, and receiving stolen property as a result of the searches that were conducted.
Investigations are continuing and police are seeking public assistance to locate a stolen KTM 350 motocross bike (similar to the one pictured).
