Police officer suspended
A 51-year-old male constable from the southern region has been formally suspended from duty, after being found guilty of three counts of breaching a police family violence order.
The officer was found guilty on 17 November 2022, following a hearing in the Hobart Magistrates Court.
The officer was stood down on 18 November 2022 and was then suspended from duty on 25 November 2022.
The matter has been adjourned to 19 January 2023 to allow for sentencing submissions.
It is not appropriate to make any further comment as the matter is before the court.
