On Saturday evening 15^th February 2020 a 35 year old man from Karoola was shot in the arm at an address in Underwood near Launceston during an argument with another man.

The injured man was taken to the Launceston General Hospital where he remains in a stable condition following surgery to his arm.

An investigation has commenced with police attending the scene and speaking to witnesses. Police are yet to locate and speak to the man responsible, however, he is not considered a risk to the general public.  The pair are known to each other.
