Police are investigating two suspicious fires overnight and believe they are likely deliberately lit.

Around 11.30pm last night, emergency services were called to a structure fire on Devonport Road at Quoiba. The building was vacant at the time, and no one was injured, however the building has been significantly damaged.

Around 1.05am this morning, emergency services were called to a vehicle fire at a car repair business on Stony Rise Road at Stony Rise. The fire spread to two other vehicles in the yard prior to being extinguished.

The cause of the fires is currently under investigation.

Police would like to speak to anyone who may have witnessed the fires or anyone acting suspiciously in the areas around the times.
