Police investigating suspicious death in Reedy Marsh
Police are investigating a suspicious death in Reedy Marsh tonight.
Around 6pm police and emergency services were called to Larcombes Road where a man was located deceased inside a house.
Police including officers from CIB, Forensics and Uniform are on the scene conducting examinations. This is expected to take some time.
Two men and one woman are in police custody assisting with enquiries. Police are currently searching the Larcombes Road area for another man they would like to speak to in relation to the matter.
Initial investigations indicate this was an isolated incident between people known to eachother and that the offender may have been armed with a bat type weapon.
Anyone with information in relation to suspicious activity in the area around Larcombes Road around 6pm is asked to contact Launceston CIB on 131 444 or report Crime Stoppers anonymously on 1800 333 000.

As part of the ongoing police investigation into a suspicious death in Reedy Marsh tonight police are urging anyone who sees a man acting suspiciously in the areas around Larcombes Road to not approach him and contact police immediately on Triple Zero (000).
Information received suggests the man may have camouflage paint on his face and may be armed with a knife.
Residents in the Reedy Marsh area are asked to ensure their properties are secure.
Police are continuing to search the area with the Westpac Rescue Helicopter assisting from the air.
