Police are investigating the circumstances which led to a young woman being located with critical injuries in Salamanca Place around 9.30am Sunday morning.

“A police investigation is underway in relation to the circumstances leading to a young woman receiving critical injuries after what we believe was an accidental fall from a 6-metre high retaining wall,” said Detective Inspector Adrian Bodnar.

“At this early stage, our investigation indicates this may have been an unfortunate and tragic accident and our thoughts are with the woman and her family and friends.”
