Police investigating rock thrown at Redline Bus in Dodges Ferry
Police are seeking public information in relation to a rock thrown through the window of an Redline Bus in-service in Dodges Ferry last night.
Around 6.55pm a large rock was thrown through the window of a bus travelling on Carlton Beach Road which had community members on board.
“Thankfully no one was injured but there was a very real potential for commuters and motorists to have been seriously injured,” said Acting Inspector Duffey.
“These types of incidents cause significant distress to the community and I urge anyone with information to come forward.”
Anyone with information in relation to the rock throwing, or suspicious activity in the vicinity of Tarana Street or Arnott Street is asked to contact police on 131 444 or Crime Stoppers anonymously on 1800 333 000.
