Police are seeking public sightings of a graffiti tag “HARAS” or “HORAS” following an 18-year-old man located marking property in Hobart on Saturday.

Around 11.45pm Saturday night police located an 18-year-old man marking graffiti tags in Elizabeth Street near Bathurst Street, and issued him with an $850 on-the-spot infringement notice for the offence of marking graffiti.

Anyone who has had property damaged recently by a tag similar to the wording “HARAS” or “HORAS” is asked to contact Road and Public Order Services on 131 444 or Crime Stoppers anonymously on 1800 333 000 or online at crimestopperstas.com.au
