Police investigating firearms discharge at Bridgewater
Police are investigating an isolated incident in Bridgewater last night where a firearm was discharged towards a residence.
Around 11pm, police responded to a report of a firearm discharged from a vehicle towards a residence on Gunn Street.
Police attended and confirmed a firearm had been discharged. No injuries were reported.
“Understandably every unlawful firearm discharge in our community is a concern,” said Detective Acting Inspector Nick Bowden.
“Police believe the incident was isolated and occurred between people known to each other. Our investigation of the matter is ongoing.”
Bridgewater Police would like to speak to anyone with information about the incident or suspicious vehicles in the area at the time; and anyone who has CCTV or dash cam of the area around the time.
