Police investigating disturbance at Howrah property
Police are investigating a disturbance at a Howrah property this morning where a man received a deep hand laceration and another was taken into custody.
Around 11:20am police responded to a report of a disturbance occurring at a residence on Buckingham Drive, off the South Arm Highway.
Attending police determined there had been an altercation between two family members, during which a 40-year-old man received a deep laceration to his hand, requiring medical treatment.
A 29-year-old Howrah man was arrested at the scene and is presently in police custody being interviewed in respect to the matter. Charges are expected to be laid this evening.
Detectives from Bellerive CIB are continuing to investigate the matter and would like to speak to anyone with information in relation to the matter.
