Police investigated cruelty to animal posted on Facebook
Police and the RSPCA have been made aware of a Facebook post depicting a video of animal cruelty. As a result of this information, on Saturday the 1st March 2014, police conducted a search in Somerset.
As a result of the search kittens were placed into the care of the RSPCA. Police have interviewed a youth who they believe is responsible and will proceed against the youth under the provisions of the Youth Justice Act for animal cruelty offences.
